Promotional photographs for Zakladni umelecka skola Pribor

Another very interesting project was a photoshoot for ZUS Pribor, an elementary art school, which requested a series of photos for their brand new website. Would you like to explore their fields of study?

Winter months are great for interesting projects, such as these promotional photographs for Zakladni umelecka skola Pribor. The school was redesigning a website and they needed new photos for their own presentation. We agreed on three images for each field of study — a photo for a circle icon, a photo with a student to showcase the particular field of study and a photo of an empty classroom, where the students practise. The three fields of study are namely music education, art education and dance education. The challenge was to capture the photos while the lessons were taking place. I always prepared and pre-visualised the shot in advance and when the students had a minute break, we created the photo.

On top of that, any introduction page or a contact page won’t be complete without a picture, so I took a photo of the school, the building, from outside too. I had to wait till the sunset as the neighbouring buildings were casting ugly shadows on the school building and it didn’t look nice. This way I obtained an atmospheric image showing beautiful architecture of the building in its full view. I put a link below so that you can check the website, which is now up and running. You may see all the photos in action how they nicely fit in. The website was put together by Jakub Kasparek, a graphic designer, who I work with on a long term basis.
