Winter Valentine's photoshoot with Marketa and Adam

Approximately two months ago I created a contest for couples when they could win a winter photoshoot for free. The winners were announced on a Valentines day. Would you like to see the portraits?

From all the participants Marketa and Adam were chosen. We had to make arrangements for the shoot as soon as possible, because the temperates stayed way above zero and all the snow was melting. Therefore we decided to do the shoot in the mountains, at Pustevny. When we started it all went well, however, we had to be quick because rain showers were forecasted for the afternoon. We managed everything in time and we finished right before the weather got worse.

For the whole shoot we stayed close to the main area of Pustevny and went for a short walk. We changed few locations to create both full body and close up portraits. Although Marketa and Adam told me they were a bit camera shy, they did extremely well, with a lot of patience. I only gave them a little guidance and they were able to nicely get into the role and act natural. It is even more admirable, because Pustevny are a very busy area. Most of the time we were the centre of attention of the tourists passing by. Sometimes you can not avoid such situations and you have to adjust to the circumstances. At the end of the shoot they were very happy with how it went. Later I was told they were eagerly awaiting the photos while I was editing them. Let’s wait for their reaction when they see their gift for the very first time.

Location: mountains, Pustevny (Czech Republic)
