Sport portraits with Hanicka
I very much like individual portraits, whether they are corporate, sports or other variety related. This time we went out with Hanicka to a summer stadium in Koprivnice, to have some fun both with running and with photography. Would you like to see the resulting photos?
Kids can be equally spontaneous and cooperative, if the given tasks look like a game and they enjoy them. Our goal was to create both static photos, starting position and a close up portrait, and dynamic photos while running. We were shooting a little while right after the sunset so we had to use an external flash. It was set at a specific spot, therefore it took many attempts until we managed to capture the right moment of the body in movement as well as the right lighting. It meant a lot of running for Hanicka, who kept on smiling all the time. Big thumbs up from my side for her patience without which similar photos would not be possible to create.
